 SFWMD to Close Kissimmee River Boat Lock
for Underwater Inspections
The S-65D lock on the Kissimmee River will be closed for two days

WHAT: 
The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) will close the S-65D boat lock on the Kissimmee River in Okeechobee County for underwater inspections by divers.

WHEN:
The lock will be closed on April 9 beginning at 6 p.m. and be reopened April 12 at 7 a.m., 2017.


WHERE:  
The S-65D boat lock is located south of the U.S. Highway 98 Bridge in Okeechobee County.
