Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!                                                                                                     Phillipians 4

Our Advent journey is quickly passing,  as we  prepare our hearts for the arrival of the Christ Child, through our prayers and good works.   The excitement and anticipation that Christmas brings is absolutely buzzing through our building as the days close in on the Birth of our Lord.  Our students have been singing their hearts out in preparation for next Friday evening's performance of "O Come Let Us Adore Him".   Attendance for students in Kindergarten through grade 5 is mandatory for this performance, as it is a significant part of our music program and curriculum.  Students are expected to arrive at the school at 5:30 pm, one week from tonight, to ready themselves for the performance.  Please refer to the expectations for attire for the evening, which is included in this newsletter.

Thank you to those of you who supported and attended our Breakfast with St. Nicholas last weekend!  Those that came had a great time, a delicious breakfast and demonstrated an outpouring of love and generosity for those less fortunate, by donating a Gift to Give. The
gently used and new toys that were donated will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Please continue these works of mercy, as we collect the gift card donations for our Advent families next week. Gift cards and our prayers will help to brighten their Christmas season... thank you.
