Fly on the Wall...
Heard in the Hall...
One day after school this week, as students were being checked into extended, one of our four year olds needed to be escorted to the preschool playground.  As I held his hand and walked down the long and quiet hallway, he very randomly and unexpectedly said:
"I love school."
All you Saints and Angels...
Pray for us!
Thanks to Mrs. Shaughnessy and some very willing and fantastic volunteers, our school family experienced an All Souls/Saints Day Celebration for the memory books!  The Trunk or Treating that took place in our school parking lot after Mass was enjoyed by all!  From St. Isidore's Farm Stand to a visit to the Pope Mobile, our students had an amazingly fun and educational experience.  The Saintly Guessing Jars added an element of estimation and anticipation as we all waited to see who was closest to the actual amount of goodies in each jar!
We will continue to pray throughout the month of November for our dearly beloved dead, and for all of the souls in purgatory.  If you have not submitted the names of your deceased loved ones to our basket of intentions, it is never too late!  Our daily school intentions include prayers for the repose of the souls of both Mrs. Morris and Mr. Pelletier, whose lives touched so many here at SFX.  A month's mind Mass will take place on Thursday, November 19th at 9am to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Pelletier.  All are welcome to attend.
An awesome weather week resulted in some quality outdoor play time!   Recesses were gorgeous and our extended kids had a blast playing flag football in the field.

Have a wonderful weekend.
~Mrs. Russo

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Ferreira and our 8th grade students for an outstanding Halloween Family Dance!  A perfect combination of scary and fun was experienced by our school family and all had an great time!  Thank you also to the many, many families who donated to the cause, by providing candy, drinks and sweet treats for the evening's festivities.  A special 'shout out' to Mr. and Mrs. Kalisz who were so generous with their time and techno treasures, and for providing the lighting, sound and special effects... very professionally done!  THANK YOU ALL!
