We had a great time celebrating with the SFX Class of 2016 & 2017 this past week. Every year we invite our graduating seniors back to campus before they head off to college. It was so good to see so many of our alumni back. They had a great time visiting with each other, looking through old yearbooks, touring the campus, and then playing on the blacktop. We finally had to kick them out! Good Luck Seniors and our 1st-year freshman (Class of 2016).

Congratulations to 7th Grade Students Flannery Walsh and Jack Quinn
This Friday 7th graders Flannery Walsh and Jack Quinn were honored by Bishop Olmstead for their winning submissions to the Creating on the Margins Art Contest for the Diocese of Phoenix. Jack and Flannery's artwork and written essays highlight the disparities faced by many communities during the COVID-19 pandemic and how various organizations stepped in to respond to these challenges. The winning artwork featured the work of community organizations that received funding from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) through CCHD (the Catholic Campaign for Human Development). Flannery and Jack's artwork will now be considered for the National Creating on the Margin's contest which can be followed on the USCCB website: https://www.usccb.org/committees/catholic-campaign-human-development/creating-margins We wish our amazing SFX students luck in the national contest and our congratulations!
Pictured above is Flannery's artwork that was selected for the Creating on the Margins Art Contest. Flannery and Jack were regional winners in the contest.
Mrs. Aspen attended the ceremony with Bishop Olmstead as Flannery and Jack were recognized for their winning submissions.
