EXTENDED NEWS

* Musical Spectacular rehearsals begin next week!  Please read carefully the form sent home with your child for necessary details.

* Cupcake Club Session 2 has come to a sweet closure!  This past week, our students thoroughly enjoyed making polar bear cupcakes while listening to Cold Paws, Warm Heart , written by Madeleine Floyd. Thank you, Mrs. Martins for making Cupcake Club a thematic experience! Please click here for information regarding Springtime Session 3!!
Thank you for clipping, trimming and sending your BOXTOPS to school! Calculations are currently being conducted to determine if we did indeed achieve our 10,000 tops goal for the 2015-2016 school year!  Stay tuned..

Our first week back after a well-deserved break was a great one!  Teachers and staff came back well rested and ready for the second half of the school year.

As we continue our Lenten journeys, many classes accepted the challenge and are praying  a daily decade of the rosary for our school family as well as those in need of our prayers. Students in Grades 4 through 8 had a blast participating in the 'Soup-er Bowl Basketball Shootout', scoring hoops and donating canned goods as a giving of alms  to those less fortunate.  There have also been conversations overheard between students discussing their individual fasting  choices and challenges!  Our teachers (the guides of the journey), continue to help students deepen their love and knowledge of our Lord, as we prepare for His resurrection.

Please take the time to read the information pertaining to the Gala Family Challenge and consider joining us for a planning meeting on Monday evening at 7pm.  This annual event is the school's largest, most lucrative fundraiser and participation is certainly appreciated and necessary for a successful evening.
Have a great weekend and  God bless!
~ Mrs. Russo
