THANK YOU to our NJHS for organizing a VERY successful Middle School Game Night!
Last Friday night our students in Grades 6-8 enjoyed an evening of fun and fundraising!  Students who attended not only had a blast playing Jeopardy, Family Feud and Lip Sync Battle, but also contributed $250 in the process for
Smile Train, a non-profit organization that provides cleft palate surgery for children.
NICE WORK!

Fly on the Wall...
Heard from the Hall...

This past week we were visited by a member of our NEASC Accreditation team, Mrs. Monique Almquist.   Mrs. Almquist toured our school and spent time in each of our classrooms.  She asked our students for their input pertaining to St. Francis and also asked if the students had any questions (insinuating about the process of accreditation)...
Mrs. Almquist:
"Does anyone have any questions for me?"
Grade 4 Student: "Do you like cats?"

NO SCHOOL Monday, Jan 18th in honor of the
Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday!

Our school day was framed a bit differently today, as our students enjoyed our annual      " I Have A Dream Day "!  Teachers and students walked the halls wearing their favorite pajamas, which is always a huge hit! Good times with an educational component, of course, as students learned about the life and contributions made by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It is time to think about registration for the 2016-2017 school year!  Please take the time to click the link found in this week's newsletter to begin the registration process for your child(ren).  We will be opening our doors on January 31st to the public to see our school and all that it offers.  Please be especially mindful if your child is in one of our classrooms that is close to capacity, as new families may inquire about those classes.

Our classroom teachers, along with the help of our School Events Committee reps, have planned a fantastic Catholic Schools Week 2016!!  Please familiarize yourself with our schedule of events, as the week will be here before we know it!

God bless!                                   ~ Mrs. Russo
