NEWS....
Attention Middle School Students!
Do you want to train to be a Student Ambassador for SFX?

Student Ambassadors from Bishop Stang will visit St. Francis on Wednesday,  January 13th, to train any 6th, 7th or 8th graders who are interested in becoming/remaining Student Ambassadors for St. Francis!  The training session will run from 2:30 until 3:30 and
no extended care fees
will apply.  Students who are interested in serving our school by being ambassadors will be expected to conduct tours at our
Open House on January 31st
from noon until 2  pm
as well as at any time throughout the school year.  We are fortunate to have Bishop Stang students who are willing to come and share their time and knowledge with our students!  If your middle-school child is interested in Student Ambassadorship, please plan on a late pickup on Wednesday, January 13th.  Thank you for allowing your child to serve our school by conducting quality tours... you rarely have a second chance with a first impression!
Thank you for your generosity!
Together we were able to raise over $3000 in gift cards to assist the SVDP Advent families in their day-to-day struggles.
God bless you!

It is time once again to collect "easy money" for our school by clipping BoxTops!  Tell your friends and families to snip, clip and cut the BoxTops from the MANY products they already purchase as our final collection will start soon.   Thank you in advance!

Happy New Year! Our school doors reopened on Monday to welcome back our well-rested students!  Their smiles were contagious as they shared the joys of the Christmas season and the highlights of their break.  From headphones to iPods and from Sponge Bob toys to remote control helicopters, it is crystal clear that our students have been very good little girls and boys!

The month of January is truly the turning point of the school year, as teachers look at student progress to date and concepts that will be covered in the second half of the academic year.  You can expect to be informed of your child's progress (Grades 1-8) on Wednesday, January 13th, as reports will be sent home.  If you have any questions or concerns pertaining your child's progress in the classroom, please do not hesitate to contact the school and/or make an appointment with your child's teacher.
Please take the time to read this week's newsletter in its entirety, as it is loaded with information that warrants your attention.

Have a great weekend and God bless!
~ Mrs. Russo
