Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The energy of the Irish was present in the building today, adding a bit of fun to the week's end! Students strolled in sporting their festive green and happily donated to those less fortunate through our NJHS can drive. Our youngest students were pleasantly surprised by mysterious visits to their classrooms made by none other than a leprechaun! Beyond the footprints and treats left behind by the mischievous lad, students were taught more about St. Patrick and his spreading of the gospel across Ireland.
Tomorrow is a Professional Development Day for our teachers, resulting in a NO SCHOOL day for our students! While our students are home relaxing, our teachers will participate in a daylong workshop on Classroom Management. We are looking forward to a great day of learning followed by the application of new skills in our classrooms!
A powerful and prayerful Holy Week is expected for our school family, which will include Stations of the Cross in the gym next Thursday at 9am. Please join us if you are able, as we walk together with Our Lord to Calvary through prayer, meditation and song. Thank you, Mrs. Shaughnessy and our Campus Ministry students for facilitating our pilgrimage
of the specific events from Christ's last day.
Please remember that a
final CORI training will take place in the library at 6:30pm. Any parent who has not competed session will not be permitted to attend end of year field trips, so please attend if you are able.
Have a great long weekend and remember to please stay completely informed by visiting our website frequently, as well as classroom teachers' web pages.
