FACTS tuition management update:

We just received notice from FACTS that they have increased their one-time enrollment fee from $38 to $45 dollars for the 2017-2018 school year.  We want to make our parents who are currently enrolled aware of the price differential.  Please call the office with any questions you may have.

This week's adventures...
Welcome back everyone!  I hope that you all had a wonderful break with your children. They were certainly excited to come back and sing the praises of Our Lord's resurrection!  We will truly celebrate the joys of the Easter season one week from today,  May 5th at 1pm.  Each one of our classes has been preparing a special song to present to our entire school family... please join our celebration if you are able!

I am pleased that we had this past week to get back into our academics, as for the next two weeks grades 2-8 will be taking their IOWA yearly assessments.  Please make certain that your child is well rested and has had a good breakfast before attending school each day, as attendance is imperative!

As we turn our calendars to May,  it will be increasingly important to pay close attention to newsletters, school correspondences, our website, school master calendar, and teacher web pages. There are numerous field trips, celebrations and ceremonies that will apply to your families.  The remainder of the year will go VERY quickly from this point forward... please stay well informed!

Lastly,  I hope to see many of you this evening, at our school's largest fundraiser of the year, OPEN DOORS.  I cannot thank you enough for the support that has been displayed through your donations, and volunteerism throughout this entire process.  Tonight will be a culmination of a great deal of effort and energy of many.... please join us as we celebrate our school success this evening!
God bless!

 Do you know a
pre-teen or teen currently watching the Netflix series
"13 Reasons Why"?

All the experts agree--children and youth should not watch this, if possible, and if they do, they should watch it or at the very least process it with a caring adult.  We urge you to talk to teens you know and care about to see if the show has been watched.  If it has, please read the resources below and be prepared for a heartfelt discussion.  The resources below, especially the first one, give you excellent ideas for questions and what is important for the child to get from the discussion.

If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us at the school or Debora Berg at the diocesan Office for Child Protection at (508) 997-7337.  We, as part of your Church family, want to help you recognize and address issues that are crucial to keeping children safe.
