Emotions running high for our 8th graders as they experienced their final days here at SFX this week. Many of them have been attending our school since preschool, and have made great connections to the staff and each other.

Grade 8 Student: "Mrs. Russo, I'm not ready to leave

This week's adventures...

Another wonderful week here at SFX! We are definitely drawing close to our finish line, and we are all so excited for the rest and relaxation that our summer will bring! The weeks are becoming whirlwinds of activity and excitement, this past week highlighted by graduation and celebration rehearsals, multiple field trips and jaunts to Acushnet Creamery, the Grade 8 Appreciation Dinner, the Grade 2 Wax Museum, and today's First Friday Mass. We are so blessed to have numerous events executed so seamlessly and without any interference, or injury! Thank you, God!

We were pleased to welcome the month of June with the first sun that we have seen in what seems like forever, and the students thoroughly enjoyed their recess and play time outdoors! We are hoping for many more sunny days, as next week brings our annual Field Day at Pope Park.

Please be sure to check the school website and your teacher's classroom webpage frequently to keep on top of all the end of year exams, celebrations, trips and instructions.

Faith in Practice

Next week's Mass schedule....

Both Preschool 4 classes will attend Holy Mass with their upper grade buddies for the last time on Wednesday, June 7th @ 9am
(weather permitting)

followed by their end-of-year celebration back at the school @ 10am.

The final Recess Rosary in May

We are so proud of the kids who sacrificed their normal recess time to pray for intentions they had on their heart. A different crowd came each Wednesday in May...such a powerful prayer!
