Welcome back from a well-deserved week away from school! It is clear from the looks on their faces and the stories told in the hallways that the students' breaks were filled with fun, sun and extra sleep in time!
Our students jumped right back in to their studies, putting forth best efforts and making certain any missing assignments were completed. After school t
utoring sessions, extra Math help, small group instruction, and individuals taking tests were the norm in many classrooms after school each day. Pressure to do well seemed to be on the increase, as second semester grades closed today!
As clearly seen in the above photo, Wednesday
marked
the onset of our Lenten journey as Monsignor
marked
our foreheads with ashes! He also explained this Church tradition is a sacramental, not a sacrament. Take the time to ask your child about the difference!
Please stay well informed by frequently visiting our website, and reading all school correspondences! Many opportunities for prayer, fasting and almsgiving will be offered during this holy season of Lent... let us make this journey together!
Looking forward to seeing many of you at
Stations of the Cross this evening at 7 pm, and/or the
Rosary Party on Sunday at 6pm.
God bless and have a great weekend!
