Can you even believe this??
This week I received an email from a concerned parent.  This parent was not concerned about make up work for a sick child, or the safety of the tire swing.... This parent was worried that the year has passed quickly and she
has not yet
completed the
"Two From Each of You" plea
made at the onset of the school year.
Have you completed your two hours?
The gala creates plenty of opportunities to do so!!  Please contact the school office, or contact your SEC rep to find out how you can help.  THANK YOU!
Thanks to your generosity, t

This week's adventures...

Quite a bit of illness has been making its way through our school building this week, resulting in many absences at all grade levels!  Let's all make sure we are washing our hands frequently and getting our necessary rest! Also, please remember our school policy regarding fevers.  Students are not permitted to return to school until they have been "fever free" for 24 hours.  Let's be considerate of each other and each other's health!

Our CYO basketball teams have concluded their season, and I could not be more proud of their perseverance and determination.  I was not able to make all of the playoff games, but heard from others how our teams "played with their hearts" and "gave it all they had".  While we only came away with one championship title, we performed like true champions in the areas of sportsmanship and skill!  I would also like to thank all of the volunteer coaches (most of whom are school parents) who gave their time and talent to our teams. Plans are in the works for an end of season banquet.. more details to come!

As we step into the month of April, we brace ourselves for a very quick few months before we end our school year.  There will be many events in the upcoming months that will warrant your participation.  The largest fundraiser of the school year is set to take place this month, and your attendance is highly recommended! Reservation forms went home in Friday folders today and we are hoping that many of our school and parish families will attend this wonderful evening of fun and fundraising for our school.   Please plan on attending Monday evening's School Events Committee Meeting to find out how you can be involved!

Have a nice weekend and   God bless!

Faith in Practice
Thank you to Fr. Pineda for coming to the school to inspire us for the last few weeks of Lent and hear our confessions!
Our "rapping priest" even shared rhymes on faith with our preschoolers!
We are blessed!

"Fly on the Wall....  Heard from the Hall...."
As you know, our students had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation this                                             week here at school.   On Tuesday, the following conversation ensued in the lunch line:

Me:   "Hey there, (insert student name), where have you been?  You're a little late for lunch today."
Student:    "Mrs. Russo, sorry I am late, but I feel SO                    GOOD!  I'm late because I just went to confession and I feel AMAZING!"
Me:  "That's fantastic, (student name)!  You are sinless!"

I later found out that this same student, after a rather rough Tuesday evening, decided to go to confession again on Wednesday!
