This week's adventures...
One very short week ago, many of our school parents and SFX parishioners attended the fundraiser of the year!  Together we joined forces, and raised bid cards to generate the necessary funds for our amazing school!  The night was truly magical, and I thank you all for your participation, support, and generous giving.  We are so blessed!  The evening easily raised our $35,000 goal for general operation of the school, as well as another $20,000 for this year's Call of the Heart.  The Call of the Heart proposal was a plan to convert our current computer lab into a STEM Learning Lab, with space created for collaboration, projects and interactive learning.

Today's Easter Celebration was fantastic!  Each one of our classes performed a joyous song of praise, and the gym was filled the energy and enthusiasm that only His Resurrection can bring!   Even the youngest members of our school family bellowed their Alleluias and all students were thrilled with the Easter treats that magically appeared in the classrooms after the celebration.

Again, I cannot stress enough the importance of staying informed of school happenings from now until school year's end.  There are numerous graduations, celebrations, field trips and fun that may require your attendance, so please read newsletters in their entirety and check out our website frequently.  For your calendars and planning purposes, the final day of the 2016-2017 school year is Tuesday, June 13th.   We will have an 11:30 dismissal and there will be NO EXTENDED offered that day.
God bless and have a wonderful weekend.
~Mrs. Russo
