Your weekly update from St. Francis Xavier School...

Pictured here is a tribute from our school family which was created for Victoria's family.  The entire student body added a fingerprint to this memorial as a sign of unity in prayer with them.  Let us keep them in prayer, especially as the holidays approach.  Their  Fundly page is still up, if you feel called to donate through that click on that link, but if you would like to do more, please contact the school and we can work with you to meet some other personal needs of this family that we are aware of.
Thank you for your support.

This week's adventures...
YES, WE CAN!
Thank you to all of our school families for displaying such an amazing amount of generosity! The number of cans and non-perishables brought into the school in such a short amount of time was remarkable!  Thanksgiving baskets are being prepared very soon by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and our contributions to this effort is greatly appreciated!  Thank you also to our NJHS members for orchestrating the collection, organizing cans and delivering to our parish!

Next week will be a blink, and will be followed by our anticipation and excitement surrounding the Birth of Our Lord!  Stay well informed regarding Christmas festivities by visiting our website often! Next Wednesday the 23rd is a rather special day here at the school.  For starters, it is a half day of school with an 11:30 dismissal!  In addition, we will be attending Holy Mass as a school family at 9am... please jooin us if you are able.  Finally, on Wednesday our classes will be receiving desriptions of their St. Vincent de Paul families that they will be lifting in prayer throught the Advent season.  Our school families will also be asked to not only pray for our SVDP families, but to also provide gift cards to provide for their needs this Christmas.

    Have a wonderful weekend and
God bless.

Jesus taught that making peace based on truth and justice is a central calling of the Catholic moral life.  Division and conflict are found in families, the Church, local communities, in our country and among nations.  This class will explore historical models such as John Paul II's Solidarity movement in Poland and practical approaches to being peacemakers in the home and workplace.
