It has been a short, yet very full week. A HUGE thank you to all of our parent volunteers who helped Mrs. Shaughnessy with the gathering of items for our basket raffles, donating candy, and creating amazing trunk decor for our All Saints Day Celebration yesterday... thank you for saying, "YES!" to helping our school celebrate this Holy Day dedicated to the saints with prayer, fun, treats and prizes! All of the trunks were extremely well done, and the addition of St. Michael's Serve and Protect vehicle was priceless! Ask your child about our prayer service, and how sainthood can parallel to participating in an IronMan. We have to cheer each other on to sainthood!
As you can imagine, our hearts broke wide open with the news of the death of our Small Wonders student, Victoria Varieur. Please keep this family in your prayers, as they begin the process of healing. At your parental discretion, use some time this weekend to discuss with your children as you see fit. We will keep school families informed with any opportunities to assist the family, both monetarily or with meals, along with any funeral arrangements. Victoria will be added to our daily school intentions for dearly departed throughout the month of November. As always, our school family will pray unceasingly and will turn to our Lord for strength as we process the passing of such a sweet, young soul.
