Dismissal time lends itself nicely to random conversations with students such as this one:
Student:   Mrs. Russo, when I grow up, do you want to know what I am going to be?
Me:  Do tell!
Student:  I am going to own a construction company, and do you want to know what I am going to name it?
Me:   Sure.  What will you name your company?

This week's adventures...
Got cookies?  This week we kicked off our very popular Otis Spunkmeyer cookie fundraiser!  Please make an effort to reduce your Family Fundraising Obligation by selling the conveniently packaged and delicious tasting Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies!  All order forms due back to the school by Tuesday, November 8th.... happy selling!

The fun will begin this evening, as our 8th graders truly shine while spooking us all!  Please read carefully the time frames for this evening's festivities and come join in on the frighteningly good fun.   Everyone is also looking forward to our All Saints Day Celebration on Tuesday of next week!  Please help us pray for good weather, as Mrs. Shaughnessy and her saintly sidekicks have put together an amazing morning of Trunk or Treating to celebrate the lives of our holy saints!

Please make note of the VERY SHORT WEEK next week, as Thursday and Friday are professional days for our teachers.  If you are planning on staying local and not using the weekend for an opportunity to get away, please consider popping by the school on Saturday, November 5th to begin your holiday shopping!  Details can be found in the SEC block of this newsletter.  Students and faculty that attend the Vendor Fair, will be rewarded with the opportunity to wear Spirit Wear on Tuesday, November 8th.  Please come and support our school and the various vendors we have secured for this annual and very popular event.
 Have a wonderful weekend and
God bless.
