This week's adventures...
....   included two lunch time assemblies, and the excitement that comes with picture day!

Our first fundraiser of the school year was launched by Kevin Donnelly from Great American on Monday, offering our families' first opportunity to reduce their $300 fundraising obligation.  Please use this opportunity both during this scheduled sale, as well as throughout the school year on line, with the information found in the box below.

Mr. Borges provided some lunch time entertainment on Wednesday, as he tried to generate excitement about wind instruments!  If your Grade 5 through 8 student is interested in exploring their musical inclination through the use of a flute, clarinet or saxophone, please click on the link found in the Extended Club block of the newsletter. Thank you Mr. Borges, for offering another extended opportunity for our students!

One week from today we will be SUPER excited for several reasons!

1-  Dismissal will be at 11:30am, due to a Teacher Professional Day. Hot lunch and Extended will be available for your convenience.

2-   In order to generate excitement for FFN5 (Family Fun Night 5), students will be permitted to wear a super hero shirt and comfortable shorts or pants to school for $1 (NO CAPES OR MASKS PLEASE) .  Funds generated will help to offset the cost of the fun evening we have planned!

3-   Family Fun Night 5 will begin at 6:30pm, and our school family will enjoy an evening of fun, games, prizes, pizza and so much more! Looking forward to a SUPER (hero) time!

Immediately following FFN5, we will be turning our calendars to October, with many more things to look forward to!

Happy autumn,  have a wonderful weekend and God bless!

Fly on the Wall....
Heard from the Hall!
After morning prayer one day this week, two tardy students walked down the first floor hallway with purple slips in hand. They were unexpectedly met by a chipper four year old who was heading to the bathroom.
Said the fiesty four year old to the "upperclassmen":
"Hey you two, school started alweady!"
