What a SUPER ½ day we had, as our students and faculty dressed in their finest super hero attire! The excitement throughout the building was evident and this evening's festivities are sure to be an enthusiastic extension of our Super Hero Day! I do look forward to seeing many of our school families this evening for food, fun, games, prizes, and photo opportunities! Whenever we gather as a whole school community, it involves many, many bodies (both large and small). Please be patient with any wait time that may result (food, games, etc), and certainly be cognizant of your child(ren)'s location and behavior. Supervision at events such as this evening is ultimately the responsibility of the parents... thank you for helping us to ensure a super fun and safe evening. An additional thank you (in advance) to all of our SEC reps, as well as those "YES" volunteers who are working toward their two-hour commitment this evening, for making FFN5 spectacular!
We are beginning to experience the change of weather, change of season and change of faith focus that arrives quite quickly with the change of our calendar! The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. As a school family, we will be focusing our eyes, readying our hearts, and increasing our love of Our Blessed Mother as we pray a daily decade of the rosary throughout the month. Please consider making a commitment at home to support our efforts by praying the rosary at home.
Have a great weekend and see many of you tonight!
