These abbreviated weeks have really helped us to ease into the school year! This quick week was highlighted by the first SEC meeting of the year, our initial NJHS and Grade 8 Student Council meetings and of course the nativity of Our Blessed Mother.
Soon you will be receiving an update from your SEC representative, outlining and highlighting some of our upcoming events. Please stay well informed, so your family does not miss out on any fun! Right around the corner is our Grandparents Day Celebration for Grades K-2, and Family Fun Night 5 for our entire school family. Both events are complete crowd pleasers!
Our National Junior Honor Society members and Grade 8 Student Council have begun to make plans for the 2016-2017 school year. Both groups plan on conducting various school-wide events that will be infused with our faith, provide us with some fun, and raise funds for those less fortunate, as well as commit to some savings for end-of-year festivities.
And of course yesterday was Mary's birthday, which brought joy and celebrations to many of our classrooms! Happy Birthday, Mary!
