Koliber Biosciences Awarded BioXp™ 3200 System for Six Months at North San Diego's Bio, Tech and Beyond Incubator

Koliber Biosciences' Ewa Lis gave an impressive presentation on her company's plans to develop a treatment for depression at SynBioBeta San Francisco 2015. As a result, Koliber won the Blue Sky Bio competition, which included a 6 month loan of the BioXp™ DNA Workstation. Koliber operates at Bio, Tech and Beyond (BTnB), north San Diego's life science incubator. Koliber has already received reagents and the incubator is making the instrument available to biotech entrepreneurs in the San Diego area. The instrument's placement at the BTnB incubator heralds a new era of collaboration for smaller biotech startup companies who can now more easily harness powerful genomic technologies.
