Suspects in multiple robberies arrested; property recovered
San Gabriel, CA – San Gabriel Police Department Detectives have concluded their investigation and uncovered that a male and female adult worked in concert to perpetrate several purse snatch robberies in and around the City of San Gabriel over the past several weeks.

The pair, David Davido, 30, and Erica Adams, 29, both of La Mirada, were arrested on the evening of March 8, shortly after committing their latest purse snatch in the City of Monterey Park. San Gabriel Detectives, in a collaborative effort with Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Taskforce (L.A. IMPACT) and neighboring law enforcement agencies, were able to determine that several other purse snatch robberies were connected to the aforementioned pair. The investigation eventually led to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of several purses and additional property believed to belong to victims of previous robberies.

The San Gabriel Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying other possible victims of this pair. Preliminary information suggests that the duo targeted Asian females in shopping plazas frequented by the Asian community.

The suspects and the vehicle used in the commission of these crimes are pictured below. The suspects are currently being held at the Monterey Park Police Department on PC 211 (Robbery) charges. Bail has been set at $100,000. If you have any information relating to these crimes, please contact Detective Eric Britt of the San Gabriel Police Department at (626) 382-0248.
