Construction Starts Monday, January 6

The State Highway 55, Farmway Road to Middleton Road Project starts this Monday (Jan. 6). Improvements will increase safety and mobility along State Highway 55 (Karcher Road) in Canyon County.

DURING CONSTRUCTION, EXPECT:

Minimum of one lane open in each direction during the day
Occasional overnight and weekend closures of SH-55
Overnight lane restrictions and flaggers directing traffic
Shifting traffic patterns
Speed limit reduced to 35 miles-per-hour on gravel surfaces
