SHARP Joint Action ended in September 2023

After four years of hard work, in part interrupted by the pandemic, SHARP Joint Action has come to an end. The coordination is still finishing final reporting and the very latest deliverables are being submitted. This final email from SHARP Joint Action includes a summary of the work done in the final months of the project, with links to relevant reports and deliverables.

Once again, thank you to all our partners and stakeholders for fruitful and effective collaboration these past years!

Important note about sustainability

Our project website sharpja.eu will stay live until the end of March 2024. After this, we will move the most important documents onto this THL website. Please note that after this time, sharpja.eu cannot be accessed. If you wish to copy and paste materials from your work package's or other pages, please remember to do so before the end of March 2024.

We have also opened a library on the Agora network of the EU Health Policy Platform. All of the deliverables as well as general information about the project will be stored there. If you're not yet a member, you can register here to be able to access the library.

As some deliverables are still going through an evaluation process, they might not be externally available yet. We will upload them on the websites and in the HPP library as they become available.

We also urge all work packages to save the work they have done. If you wish to copy and paste the contents of the website on your own institution's server, feel free to do so.

Table-top exercise handbook made available

In September 2023, work package 6 trialled a tabletop exercise (TTX) to enhance awareness on which sectors are currently involved and which should be involved in the initial period of public health emergency response. It’s designed to inspire public health professionals to think about multisectoral collaboration in their existing national, (in)formal preparedness and response plans.

The tabletop exercise (TTX) is made available for countries to evaluate and improve preparedness and response plans relating to zoonosis disease.
