A Message from Mr. Whitten, Principal
Hello, Lancers!

A lot of things have been happening recently on and around the SH campus that has brought a huge smile to my face.

It's been so great to get back to athletic competitions! CIF-SS has been able to facilitate cross country races and I know our student-athletes have been so excited for this day to have finally come. And we look forward to more sports competing in the weeks and months ahead. There is light at the end of this tunnel!

And it was wonderful to welcome students back to campus for classes on Tuesday. This place was built to host kids, and it's been quite lonely here without them! I saw a lot of smiles this week as we all experienced a small glimmer of normalcy. If you're in Cohort C and your family is ready for you to come back to in-person learning, we can safely place you in one of those cohorts--please call the office to make this change.

And as always, thanks to our supportive students, parents, and staff for making sure all of these great things take place within the safety guidelines, ensuring they can continue!

In English classes over the next few weeks, our guidance counselors will be presenting 2021-2022 registration materials. Be sure to talk about this important information; please help to ensure registration deadlines are met so that students are able to enroll in the classes they most desire!

As always, please reach out to me, my outstanding administrative team, or any adult on campus if you witness anything of concern; or you can reply to this email to reach me quickly and easily.

Enjoy a great (beautiful SoCal winter!) weekend!
