This two day course will give you a thorough grounding in all stages of the assessment and development process.

 

The course includes practical training and guidance in all stages of the design and implementation of assessment and development centers. Delegates will design an assessment center and learn how to resolve key issues in exercise design. Further training on how to design exercises can be arranged on an in-company basis.

 

Delegates are required to complete some key components before the course to allow more time for practical exercises during the two days.

 

Attendees should either be experienced assessors or have undertaken SHL Assessor Training (Note: Part 1 of this back-to-back training course is on Assessor Training).

Ms. Liza Manalo-Mapagu

Ms. Liza Manalo-Mapagu, Managing Director of Assessment Analytics, Inc. is an HR-OD practitioner. She specializes in test development, competency-based assessment, training and consulting. A Certified Trainer on Psychometrics by the SHL-UK and  British Psychological Society, she now oversees SHL's  assessment program implementation in Southeast Asia. SHL is the global leader in providing talent management solutions.

 

She has been involved in a number of Competency Profiling and Assessment  and Talent Management projects for major corporations in the Philippines and the rest of Southeast Asia.

 

Her industry consulting experience sprang from her posts as Consulting Director of Strategic Consulting Services and Assistant General Manager of Eduquest, Inc.

 

She had ten (10) years of working experience in the academe taking various leadership and teaching positions on assessment and human resource management.  She was the Head of Evaluation of De La Salle University-Institutional Testing and Evaluation Office, DLSU-Manila, and Directors of Center for Educational Assessment and Research, and  Human Resource Development Center at the De La Salle-University-College of Saint Benilde.

 

A BS Psychology graduate from University of Sto.Tomas, she has a Master's Degree in Measurement and Evaluation at De La Salle University. She has earned academic units in a Ph. D course in Research and Evaluation at the University of the Philippines.
