COOLANT EXCHANGE PRICE CHANGE

Effective Tuesday, December 26th, the Coolant Exchange service will be priced at $140 and we will be offering a $20 discount for all customers who purchase the Coolant Exchange service.

We have looked at how our pricing compares to in the market and feel that this new rate brings us closer to the competition while still being the best service option for our customers. Further, we feel the $20 coupon helps emphasize the balance between price and value in our service.

Use this script when discussing the service with customers.

"I wanted to speak to you about your coolant system. Your manufacturer recommends coolant be exchanged every ____ miles. If you haven't replaced your coolant in that amount of time, it will be mostly water by now.

You can imagine how much less effective that is at protecting your engine and it also impacts performance and gas mileage.

We offer to transfer that water out using our pressure system and add 50/50 universal coolant throughout, to last you another 60-80,000 miles.

This is typically a $140 service, but we are offering a $20 discount for all oil change service customers right now. Is this something you would like to take care of today?"

We are actually more affordable than our closest competitors.

Jiffy Lube and Valvoline charge $159.99 and dealerships charge $200 or more depending on the dealership.

WHY IS A COOLANT EXCHANGE SO IMPORTANT?

Coolant breaks down like any other engine fluid. Just as motor oil has vital engine performance additives, your coolant has additives that prevent boiling, freezing and corrosion. When these additives are depleted, contaminants and debris can begin to build up on your radiator, affecting its performance.

It’s essential to have your coolant fluid exchanged every so often. Whether it’s cold or hot outside, the coolant allows the cooling system to keep the engine and radiator at just the right temperature.
