Boogie Back to Texas

Wednesday, 6-7 PM

Austin 2

Boogie Back host Geoff Fletcher continues his retrospective look at shows focused on musicians from specific cities with another round of musicians from Austin, and this one has some favorites, for sure. Tune in to hear terrific voices and songwriters like Toni Price, Shawn Colvin and Sarah Jarosz (before she joined I’m With Her) and Tish Hinojosa.

The male songwriters also are abundant with Slaid Cleaves, Joe Ely, Darden Smith and James McMurtry (complaining about a worthless 60 acres he inherited). We have some country with Dallas Wayne and Junior Brown – “My Wife Thinks You’re Dead.” We also have some great rock and roll and blues from the likes of Lonnie Mack, Gary Clark Jr., Carolyn Wonderland and Sue Foley.
