Spotlight On Aimée Cartier I’ve been teaching intuition programs since 2015. I’ve been a professional psychic, doing readings since 2007. My radio show on VoV, started in 2022, has been my way to disseminate information about the spectacular power WE ALL HAVE of our intuition in a way that required zero dollars from anyone.
I truly believe the world is made better when we each listen to and act on our own inner knowing. It allows us to take our place in the world and allows our soul to get and experience all that it came here to experience. The recognition to me that the KVSH radio show and podcasts has had nearly 20,000 listens, makes my heart shine.
It makes me think of all the bright candles (i.e. people) all over the world who are also paying attention to, getting and offering the goods of acting upon their intuitive knowing. Thank you to each of you who are one of those candles!
All my love, Aimée

Kat's Back We welcome Kat Eggleston back as co-host of the show after her triumph on stage at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. In August we play something from the Celtic music acts that are coming to VCA in the future: Skerryvore (October 11, 2026), Julie Fowlis (February 3, 2027) and Lunasa (March 18, 2027). We kick things off with some Uilleann piping from Tiarnan O Duinnchinn, followed by Niamh Parsons song of the wren to celebrate Kat’s new play “The Wren” (http://ghostboattheater.org/upcoming-events/) which will be performed at the O Space on August 28, 29, 30. We play some music from David Munnelly, Caitlin Warbelow, Maria Dunn, the Victoria Police Pipe Band, and Calum Armstrong, whose playing of the aulos is featured in the soundtrack to Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.” Thanks for listening and supporting VoV.

Boogie Back to Texas
Wednesday, 6-7 PM
Glenn Fukanaga
Side-players are those usually unheralded musicians adding texture, rhythm, nuance and richness to a song. They seldom get the spotlight or even notice. Boogie Back host Geoff Fletcher has begun to change that with the spotlight on a series of side players. The first in the series was Glenn Fukanaga, bass player out of Austin. In this reprise, tune in to hear a variety of musicians (Glenn can play virtually any genre), known and lesser known. Joe Ely, Ray Benson and Carolyn Wonderland offer some rock and roll and Toni Price and Terri Hendrix some blues. Terry Allen provides a terrific take on feeling abandoned, and Lyle Lovett and The Trishes cover heart-tugging covers of Guy Clark, while Shawn Colvin covers Bruce. These songs and more from the Glenn Fukanaga catalog of supporting bass.
