Vashon audiences will have a chance to hear this gifted singer-songwriter for themselves on September 18 at Vashon Center for the Arts. Sally talks with Kristina about the highlights of her remarkable career, her musical range, and the challenges of being a singer-songwriter in today’s changing music industry.

Boogie Back to Texas

Wednesday, 6-7 PM

Stories Again!

This is such a great show that we are playing it again without football competition. Stories are at the core of our everyday experience, and all of them elicit some kind of emotion in us. Tune in as Boogie Back host Geoff Fletcher spins stories of revenge from Shawn Colvin and Kenny Rogers, and stories of punishment (aka jail) from Sue Foley, Jerry Jeff Walker and Lyle Lovett. Radney Foster deserves some punishment for messing up multiple lives, and Pentatonix covers a classic Dolly song. James McMurtry, Guy Clark and Robert Earl Keen with Joe Ely – some of the absolute best songwriters – spin their tales. This is one of the all-time favorite editions of Boogie Back.
