A rigorous four-day program designed for African American, Latino American, and Native American scholars and artists to experience a “behind the scenes” glimpse into life as a faculty member at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The program is for current PhD/MFA students, alumni, postdoc scholars and fellows, and others interested in a career at RIT.

Election season starts this week! SHPE's elected leaders, including regional representatives and the national Board, are the heart of the organization. These servant leaders donate their time and energy to the Familia while building their skills and their resume. If you want to run or vote in these elections, you must be a member in good standing by February 15.

2022-2025 SHPE STRATEGIC PLAN
The 2022-2025 SHPE Strategic Plan is now available! This plan is the blueprint and the foundational document for SHPE's growth over the next three years. Please take a moment to read it and then join us for a Town Hall at 6:30pm ET on Thursday, February 24 with CEO Chris Wilkie and Board Chair Miguel Alemañy. They will present the plan and answer any questions you have about it.
