This week, Washington County released a Tri-County Request for Programmatic Qualifications (RFPQ) to expand our network of service providers and qualify organizations to provide Supportive Housing Services across the region in all three counties. The procurement process was developed in partnership with Clackamas and Multnomah Counties to make it more accessible and straightforward for community-based organizations to contract with all three jurisdictions, with one application. Each County will develop and manage contract allocation processes for service provision independently; however, organizations can qualify for these contracting opportunities with one universal application through the Tri-County RFPQ.
Washington County has already qualified 38 organizations to provide Supportive Housing Services through the June 2021 RFPQ process. Many of these organizations are currently contracting with the county to provide services funded through the Supportive Housing Services program. Washington County is seeking additional partner organizations to support this work, especially culturally specific service providers and affordable housing owners.
The Tri-County RFPQ will qualify additional organizations to contract with Washington County as well as Clackamas and Multnomah Counties to provide a variety of services. Organizations can apply and qualify in the following service categories:
- Outreach and engagement
- Shelter and transitional housing
- Connections to stable housing
- Supportive housing stabilization services
- Wrap-around supports
