Dear SHSP Alumni,
Things have been especially busy at NYMC's School of Health Sciences and Practice in recent months, and we are delighted to share news of some of these student, faculty and alumni activities and accomplishments. Commencement is always a particularly gratifying experience for faculty and students. Held in New York's Carnegie Hall, it is a wonderful event filled with a full range of emotions. Read about it and see photos in the article below. But well before commencement, our students partake in many important milestone events such as the D.P.T White Coat Ceremony
, the induction ceremonies for the honor societies (Alpha Eta and Delta Omega),
and The Annual Research and Scholarship Day which I am also pleased to share with you in this issue of Alumni Connections.
These and all the happenings at SHSP in this issue of Alumni Connections are a great source of pride for me as the school's dean-as I hope they are for you as our alumni.
Share your stories with us via email.
Many thanks,
Robert W. Amler, M.D., M.B.A. Dean
