In Memoriam - Doris Arbuckle

Sadly, our Club lost a longtime, devoted member recently. Doris Arbuckle joined SI Chico in January of 1960, serving as President in 1967. A very proud member, she maintained her membership through the present time, even though health issues prevented her from attending many club meetings in recent years. Those of us fortunate enough to have known Doris can attest to her gentle, generous nature and ever-present smile. For more details of this remarkable woman's life, please see: Doris Arbuckle

*A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, 850 Palmetto Ave.

SUDS Alert!

Holiday SUDS - Thursday, Dec. 12, 5:15 pm at Roselle Bar & Lounge, 1920 Market Pl. Suite 140 (in Meriam Park across the street from Bourbon Kitchen). Bonnie and Ken Chapman did a 4-page spread on Roselle in the last Edible Shasta-Butte, and Amy Louis recommended it last year, so let's go!

Outstanding craft cocktails, mocktails + beer, wine & delicious food. The back area is reserved for us, and they will give us separate checks. Comfortable holiday attire encouraged for this fun girls' night out!
