Dear Staten Island Academy Community,
We are thrilled to announce that the Academy is officially launching the revitalization of our Renaissance Campaign! As many of you know, we paused part of our capital campaign due to COVID-19. While we are pleased that the Campaign enhanced both the Laura Elliman Patrick ’52 Center (PARC) and our Financial Aid program, we are poised; along with full support from the Board of Trustees, our Administrative Team and our faculty and staff, to execute the final phase of our vision.
With the input of many and the support of consultants, we formulated a vision for the next five years. Our vision is to transform the Academy's program through campus enhancements to empower students to reach their full potential; providing an educational experience that inspires a passion for learning, personal growth, and civic responsibility in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Although the Campaign will look different, it will positively impact all members of our Staten Island Academy community by enriching programs, improving physical spaces and supporting the people and culture that makes our school so special—all while fulfilling our Academy mission. We are ready to get to work on renovating the Auditorium, creating an Innovation Lab, reinforcing our safety and security, adding a sustainability track to our science curriculum and increasing support of our faculty and staff.
However, this is just the beginning. We are currently developing a comprehensive long-range plan that includes revitalizing multiple areas of our campus over the next decade.
Certainly, we will communicate with greater detail each project as it begins to take shape. In the meantime, if you wish to learn more about the exciting plans in store or ways in which you can participate or donate, please do not hesitate to reach out to us, as we are eager to share our collective and vibrant vision with you all.
