Dear Parents,

It was so wonderful to see so many parents, faculty and students join us for our Early Years Falling into Shabbat and the afternoon SIA Fall Carnival! The children had such a great time playing fall games, petting the animals, building with blocks, decorating pumpkins, enjoying Kona Ice and so much more!   A special thank you to Elyssa Brinn, Veronica Samonte, Jacque Lam, Andie Eichelbaum and Irina Washburn for organizing such a wonderful event that brought our school Kehilla or community together!  Thank you to all the teachers who worked so hard decorating, creating fall games and manning the stations for the students.  We all look forward to Next Year's SIA Fall Carnival on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Next week our Primary Years students in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to learn more about Israel from Mr. Joe Perlov with an interactive workshop. In addition, on Friday, we will have the pleasure of a visit from some Israeli exchange students from Tallwood high school joining our students for lunch and a craft.

Please note: School Pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, November 1  – Thursday, November 3, 2022.  More information will be sent out in the coming weeks through ParentSquare.

Below you will see some reminders for the week ahead.

Together in Education

Harris Teeter’s Together In Education program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your VIC card and shop Harris Teeter brands.  Harris Teeter has donated over $32.4 million to Together In Education schools since 1998! When you shop Harris Teeter brands, a percentage of your purchase is donated to the school that your VIC card is linked to.  There are NO LIMITS to how much a school can earn!  Any customer with a VIC card can link their card to a school. Customers can link up to five (5) schools to their account. The more people that connect their loyalty cards to a school, the higher the earning potential for a school.
