SIA School Newsletter

October 7, 2022

Dear Parents,

As we prepare to celebrate Sukkot, I wish all our families Chag Sukkot Sameach! Building a sukkah is great fun for children and reminds us of what it was like to build a fort as a child. I hope everyone enjoys building their Sukkah at home. The Campus Sukkah is going up in the next few days and will be decorated by our wonderful SIA students! We are looking forward to enjoying lunch and snack in the Sukkah next week.

Please note: There is no school on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 in observance of Sukkot. Fullcare and JCC SDO are open on both of these days.

Our SIA Donors are invited for Sweets treats in the Sukkah on Thursday, October 13 at 8:00am. As our special guest, you will have the opportunity to shake the lulav and etrog, eat yummy sweets, and grab a cup of coffee to start your day!

Join us for a Parent Breakfast in the Sukkah on Friday, October 14, 2022 sponsored by the SIA Parent Volunteer Organization from 8:15am-9:15am.

The campus Sukkah is located outside on the white top. Enter through the JCC and walk straight through the rear doors.

Please mark your calendars for some exciting upcoming events at SIA:

Come out and enjoy fall games, food, and treats. Hope to see you there!

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sukkot Sameach!

Below you will see some reminders for the week ahead.

Harris Teeter’s Together In Education program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your VIC card and shop Harris Teeter brands.  Harris Teeter has donated over $32.4 million to Together In Education schools since 1998! When you shop Harris Teeter brands, a percentage of your purchase is donated to the school that your VIC card is linked to.  There are NO LIMITS to how much a school can earn!  Any customer with a VIC card can link their card to a school. Customers can link up to five (5) schools to their account. The more people that connect their loyalty cards to a school, the higher the earning potential for a school.
