HERE'S SOME ACTION ITEMS TO MAXIMIZE IMPACT
- Invite businesses to your chapter meeting to discuss their goods and services.
- Patronize Black-Owned businesses in a show of financial support as well as capture the dollars spent with those businesses in which your chapters supported.
- Feature these businesses on your chapter’s websites, newsletters, social media pages and at your chapter events during this time.
- Conduct Face to Face or Virtual Business Fairs (Have businesses showcase themselves via virtual platforms to your community)
- Conduct Face to Face or Virtual Small Business Forums (Business owners can discuss how to start and maintain a business)
- Conduct Face to Face or Virtual webinars with the Small Business Administration (SBA) in your communities in order to inform your neighbors of the business opportunities that are available.
- Chapters can have their Chapters BBB director interview a Black-Owned business owner and post that interview on their social media pages and chapter websites.
- Schedule an SBA-lead small business workshop (Please contact the Small Business Administration for support)
Please take photos and submit to the BCM Weekly and post to PBS Bigger and Better Business Facebook Page. Also, remember to tell your Chapter Members to individually
re-share any social media posts to gain greater exposure. #pbsbbb1914
