SILVER ANNIVERSARY AMELIA CONCOURS HOMECOMING FOR PAST SUPERSTAR HONOREES
Jacksonville, FL - The landmark Silver Anniversary Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance will reunite much more than a world class gathering of the rarest and most desirable cars. It will be a reunion, a homecoming, for many of The Amelia's previous honorees.

“The Amelia has always been as much about people as it has about cars,” said Bill Warner, founder and Chairman of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. “We wanted something special for our guests and fans on our 25 th anniversary. This homecoming of champions seems like the perfect way to celebrate our 25 th anniversary.”

Racing champion, team and Indianapolis Motor Speedway owner Roger Penske is The Amelia’s Silver Anniversary honoree in 2020. Four classes of his cars will celebrate his unique career at the pinnacle of international motorsport.

“We’ll miss our only two-time honoree, Stirling Moss,” said Warner. “Our World Champion Phil Hill, 1964 World Champion John Surtees and Carroll Shelby are gone, but their spirit, the style and the accomplishments they brought to the industry and our sport are still part of The Amelia’s legacy."
Former Honorees: Jacky Ickx (2019), David Hobbs (2009), Brian Redman (2000) and Hurley Haywood (1998).
Former Honorees at the Reliable Carriers 8 Flags Road Tour: Emerson Fittipaldi (2018) and Jochen Mass (2014).
