About the Speakers:
Andrea Markstrom is responsible for innovative technology solutions and security initiatives across all of Taft’s offices and practices areas. Bringing more than 25 years of experience to the firm, Andrea has a track record of success defining business strategy, developing teams and leading technology and operations departments for large law firms and corporate organizations. Prior to joining Taft, she served as the Chief Information and Technology Officer for a large law firm based out of NYC, and spent time leading technology organizations for Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Target Corporation based in Minnesota. A recognized leader in her field, Andrea’s honors include ILTA’s 2021 Influential Woman in Legal Tech and the Corporate Winner for the 2019 NYC CIO of the Year Orbie award. She is founder of the non-profit professional networking forum i.WILL, Inspiring Women Igniting Leadership & Learning. Andrea is committed to supporting and empowering women.
Gary Jeter is an accomplished technology & operations executive with experience leading IT solution delivery and service delivery operations in Fortune 500 companies within the healthcare, insurance, aircraft engine and commercial finance industries. As the CTO, Gary is responsible for the technology vision, strategy and operations supporting TruStone Financial Credit Union members and team members. He leads a team of 49 technologists organized into six teams – Architecture & Development; Data Analytics; Front Office Applications; Core & Back Office Applications; Infrastructure & Operations; and Global Planning & Delivery. Gary earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy. Gary’s leadership & customer focus received international industry recognition as the 2017 HDI Team Excellence Award winner. In October 2020, Gary was featured as an accomplished technology leader in Toggle Magazine.
Ted Marks brings twenty plus years of IT experience in leading organizations in application development, infrastructure management, process improvement and culture change management. Ted’s career began in application development and progressed to infrastructure, IT process management positions and he managed culture change initiatives for three large clients at a consulting firm before joining UnitedHealth Group. At UnitedHealth Group, Ted managed the growth and maturation of the IT infrastructure M&A capability from a group of six people to more than six hundred and a budget in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Ted was OptumCare CTO and managed teams of people that delivered IT services to OptumCare including software facilitating risk adjustment, physician referrals and delivering data to the point of care. Ted is currently the CIO for WellMed Medical Management, an $11B in revenue subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. At WellMed he leads a global team of more than 800 people in supporting providers that predominately care for Medicare Advantage patients across Texas and Florida.
Dave Brady is President and CEO of Turning Point Corporation, a Management and Technology Consulting firm based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Turning Point’s mission is to help customers achieve competitive advantage and operational excellence through transformation of process, changing how people do work and effectively using business technology. Dave has 4 decades of corporate, consulting and technology leadership experience, having led and participated in M&A due-diligence, buy & sell side deals, divestitures and carve outs across a variety of domestic and global industries and companies. This includes M&A projects at Turning Point Consulting (7), Datalink Corporation (3), Chamilia (1), Starkey Hearing (1), ADC Telecommunications (4), McKesson Corporation (2), United Health Group (12), Aetna (4), and Park Nicollet Medical Center (1). Dave served on the Board of Directors of ADC (India) Communications and Infotech Private Limited. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Western Governors University, along with an Associate Degree in Electronics from Brown Institute. He is also a graduate of the Carlson Companies Executive Leadership Program and the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Excellence Executive Leadership Program.

Hillary Spreizer is the President and Owner of The Latitude Group, a Minnesota based IT recruiting firm "that provides tailored recruitment services to create the perfect match.” She has spent her entire career understanding the drivers of clients and candidates with a focus on diversity, inclusion and building sustainable, scalable placement solutions.
Mary Lynne Perushek joined Mortenson in 2017 as CIO. Mary Lynne is responsible for setting the IT strategy and ensuring all the systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. She continues to focus the entire ITS team around brining value to all aspects of Mortenson’s business. Her team of professionals are focused on hybrid cloud infrastructure, applications, security, field solutions, business relationships and new initiatives to improve Mortenson’s internal and external customer service experience and prepare us for the future. Prior to joining Mortenson, Mary Lynne served as CIO at The Donaldson Company. She has an extensive IT background, with more than 30 years’ experience leading technology organizations. She was named a Women in Business Industry Leader in 2009 and CIO of the Year in 2013 by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. In addition to her professional achievements, she has served on multiple boards, including YWCA Minneapolis, and as board chair for Genesys Works Twin Cities, and remains actively involved in those organizations. Currently she sits on the University of St. Thomas’ technology master’s degree program advisory board. Mary Lynne and her husband Mike have three children and two adorable grandchildren! In her free time, Mary Lynne enjoys time with her family, traveling, reading and anything water related. She continues to hone her tennis game and attempts to learn piano.
Tim Thull is the Chief Information Officer at Revo Health, an organization that provides business services to innovative healthcare organizations across the country. Tim is responsible for delivering business and technology solutions for organizations that deliver patient care across many healthcare specialties. Tim has 25+ years of Healthcare and Information Technology experience and has been recognized as a Mpls-St. Paul Business Journal CIO of the Year in 2012 and a CIO of the Year Orbie Award winner in 2019. As a current board member of Genesys Works Twin Cities, Tim is committed to giving back to the IT community and has served in various forums as an advisor, governing body member, awards judge, presenter, panelist and mentor to many. Tim’s experience includes time with Medica, McKesson and as a consultant, board member and advisor. He is a graduate of Carlton College.
Idrissa Davis brings progressive experience as a business-outcome focused Information Technology executive. His passion for delivering performance excellence inspires him to continually evaluate operational effectiveness and deliver practical, and often breakthrough solutions. Simply… Idrissa runs technology as a business; engaging heavily with the C-Suite and all key operational functions to achieve sustainable results. His strength in speeding up the overall pace at which IT understands, responds and supports business needs, has enabled him to deliver capabilities that allow companies to become more agile, scalable and competitive in the marketplace, while enhancing user experience and enriching shareholder value. In his current role, as Executive Director of Technology Services for St. Paul Public Schools, Idrissa oversees enterprise-wide IT strategy and operations for a $750M School District, supporting 6,000 employees and over 37,000 students across 73 sites. With a key focus on modernizing an antiquated technology infrastructure, he has been pivotal in continually identifying, developing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and administrative operations. Acting as a Transformational Leader, Idrissa has built an IT environment that supports the mission and vision of the School District, now and for the future. Furthermore, he has established disciplined processes and created a collaborative culture that embraces change.
About the Moderator:
Harold Knutson has a passion for advancing the leadership capabilities of IT Executives. He holds a Masters in Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota and has held numerous CIO and IT Leadership positions helping firms such as American Express Financial Advisors, Best Buy, Federated Department Stores, and Thomson Reuters realize significant business value through the appropriate use of technology. His forte is making technology an integral part of business strategy – particularly where it improves the customer experience and deepens the understanding of client’s needs. Today, Mr. Knutson shares his knowledge through brief consulting engagements as well as hosting and facilitating small groups of forward-thinking CxO’s interested in exploring current Technology Leadership challenges through dialogue and experience sharing. He also volunteers assisting technology leaders in transition and has served on non-profit Boards.

This annual Golf Event is part of that mission. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our partners in education and community outreach in the form of SIM Minnesota scholarships for technology leadership. Come join us for a great day, at a great venue, for a great cause, all with the authentic intention of creating a great chapter for the benefit of all stakeholders in MN!!! First Format: Stableford Play you OWN score and be part of a fun-filled stableford event that is designed for all skill types! • Each player is slotted into one of six talent categories (based on the average score) and awarded points based on their score on each hole. • The points vary of course based on talent level to ensure parity for all. Its tons of fun, competitive, and ANYONE can win regardless of talent level. • There will be a modest entry fee and 50% will go to the Top three finishers, and the other 50% to SIM Scholarship Charity. • Details will follow as we get closer…..just know this is a very popular game.
Second Format: Scramble Just want to have fun and play the best ball of your foursome? • Then choose the Scramble option and if you bring your own foursome great, otherwise we will team you up of course. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places as well!
Schedule:
• 11:30 Arrival (or earlier if you wish extra warm up time) : warm up, boxed lunches, conversation, stableford rules etc.
• Tee Times begin at 12:30 on front and back nines
• 5:30 to 6:30: As final golfers come off the course we will have appetizers and drinks
• 6:30-7:15: Awards presentations, prize drawings, and SIM Chapter remarks

Our 7th national meeting - the SIM Women Leadership Summit - will be held on May 16, 2022, at the Westin Forrestal Village in Princeton, New Jersey. This event can be attended in person or virtually.
The Summit offers an amazing community and networking, plus thought leadership and solutions across these tracks: EXEMPLIFY, EMPOWER, and EDUCATE.
