Hello SIMB Members,

On the heels of the 2021 Annual Meeting in Austin, TX, the program committee and I have begun to plan the 2022 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA, August 7-10. Since we know that many SIMB members wanted to but were unable to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting planning meeting that was held in Austin, I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to get involved in shaping the next meeting.

Please fill out a very brief survey to indicate your interest in being a session convener (those that pick the speakers and preside over the sessions) or being on the program committee (a rotating 3-year appointment for those with convener experience – they choose the session topics and the conveners). Please note that you are indicating your interest in these positions, and that selection will be communicated in the next few months. The survey will close on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

The brief survey also gives you a chance to give input on special topics for sessions at the 2022 Annual Meeting, and any other suggestions you have for the meeting.
