From Mr. Merrick:
Dear St. Ignatius Families,
With the dusting of snow that we received yesterday, I would like to remind you that we will again be using the OptionC Parent Alert System to broadcast a phone and text message in the event that we need to close school or delay the start of the day due to weather. You can change your call/text preferences by logging into OptionC and clicking "Manage Alerts" under the "Communication" menu. You can add telephone numbers to this list by sending an email to the school office.
In the event of a delayed opening or weather-related closing, the message will also be emailed, sent to KYW-3 (#763)and NBC-10, as well as posted on the school website. Information for these days can be found on the "OptionC/Weather Closings" page of the school website. For a two hour delay, AM CARES begins at 9:30 AM, drop off begins at 10:15 AM, and classes begin at 10:30 AM; there will be no half day PreK.
I also wanted to make you aware of some new pages on the school website under "Current Families". Copies of school-wide emails are now being posted on the "News/School Emails" page. New photo slideshows can be found on the "School Photo Gallery" page, and samples of student art and multimedia projects are being posted on the "Student Work Gallery" page.
Thank you for your support of St. Ignatius School; have a great week!
