Enhancing the lives of women and youth in our community

and around the world. Rise and Shine with us!

Greetings to All!

Today's meeting was opened by

Invocation: Lydia's invocation had to do with sharing riches. If someone gives when they have little, it means so much more than when a person of means gives back. The truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than a lot of money.

Our guest today was Karen Goldberg (she's joining soon, Yay!)

Sunshine goes out to: Rick and Collen Pence for Rick's speedy recovery. Healing thoughts go out to Lois and our President Lisa.

Online Auction Note: Andrea Solis will be collecting all donations this week! Give her your goodies and she'll get them up on the site.

Keep working on donation acquisition for the auction ladies. We are about 1/5 of the way there.

Reminder: Fires continue to rage for our neighbors in Southern California. We in Tahoe and our surrounding communities are no stranger to fire and understand this unimaginable time for you. Want to help? Information is below on a supply drive in Tahoe and Truckee.

Today's meeting

Our speaker this week had to cancel so we had some unexpected free time to do Happy Dollars. We all have so much to be grateful for and we got to share those things with our friends.

Reminder: Our Social committee has an even after next week's business meeting, we will meet in the main room for a Valentine Friendship Social, bring a treat to share if you can.

We need 4 more volunteers to decorate and serve a table at the Mad Hatter. It's tons of fun and you get to be so creative.

A HUGE thank you to Kerry and Wendy David. They are the latest sponsor for the 2025 year of SITS!

Be a part of our Spring Fundraisers!

Our Online Auction opens Friday, May 16 and closes on Friday, May 30, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

Club Sponsor & Event Donor; For community business leaders or anyone who wants to go that extra mile in supporting our efforts! This is a position which helps us all year long to enhance the lives of others. Please go to SITS2025.org for details and sign up now!

Donations for our online auction are gratefully accepted here! You don't have to be a business to help out. Think of a creative experience you can provide, a prepared gourmet meal, boating trip on Lake Tahoe, guided fishing experience, Troop Masters - yard clean up by the troop!, any kind of treat you can provide. We all can make a difference in the lives of others, together!

Mad Hatter Tickets go on sale SOON through the website AND we have a return of our Vacation Raffle opportunities thanks to the generosity of the Jean Bergner, Cookie Rork, and Jeanne Prestella! Here we go ladies!

Vacation Raffle Tickets will be sold starting March 1 and run through May 30. Tickets will be $50 each and only 200 per trip will be sold. You can purchase tickets for a week in a 2 bedroom Maui condo, or a week anywhere in the world in a timeshare.
