Enhancing the lives of women and youth in our community and the world.

Today's Meeting Review!

President Paula opened our meeting.

Our invocation was an oldie but a goodie.  Thanks, Lydia, for having such a treasure trove to choose from.

We did not have a Zoom option today because it was such a participation program.  Usually, we welcome members to join us by Zoom. This is a wonderful option on days you may be out of town, under the weather, or simply aren’t able to make it to the meeting in person.  Www.sitszoom.com

Sunshine goes out to Joy & Bill as their loving pup crossed the Rainbow Bridge. To Janna as her mom Beverly joined Chuck in Heaven for a lovely dance. To Lydia and her family on the loss of her dear Mother, Shelly's Aunt in So. California, Colleen Hurwitz's family on their loss, Patty Olsons's family and keep our own Mireya and Helen in your prayers as well.

TODAY'S MEETING:

We had a "get to know each other" theme today.  The organizing superstars asked us all to use the word JOY to tell about ourselves.

The J stood for "What JUST happened in your life"?

The O stood for  "ONE thing you like to do for yourself"?"

The Y stood for "a part of YOU that makes YOU special"?

We all feel better connected with a deeper understanding of our SITSters after this fun exercise.

A big thank you to all who participated in our Artful Way to Support Mt. Tallac Students Auction.

We are so thankful to everyone for their support. With $4,000 raised, the students will have added support. Our ladies are in the process of getting items to their new owners this week!

We know that both Sandy and Keith are happy that Keith's art pieces have good homes and that our youth will benefit from both their hearts.

This Monday we presented the Superstar Student award at Mt. Tallac School.

Ava Etchells was chosen by the teachers, each of whom  could not say enough wonderful things about her. Ava is new to South Lake Tahoe, and has already embraced the opportunity to further her education by blending her morning at Mt.  Tallac classes with a science class at LTCC.

Facebook Link We are changing over from using Facebook Group to Facebook Page.  The link above will get you where you need to go! Let's all be on the same Page!!!
