Celebrating its 50th anniversary, one of the nation’s most successful youth-theater programs thrives right here in Delco. Each summer, Upper Darby Summer Stage draws hundreds of tweens and teens who eat, sleep, and breathe theater, culminating in a dazzling Mainstage production plus six Broadway-caliber, family-friendly shows bursting with talent and heart.



Tyler Arboretum’s new Nature at Night series invites guests to discover the science and wonder of the natural world after dark. Each event focuses on a different topic—like fireflies, bats, or nocturnal animals—and features guided learning experiences led by experts. It’s a fun and educational way for families and nature lovers to deepen their understanding of what comes alive when the sun goes down.



Mark your calendars for August 16–17 as Reaney Street outside Subaru Park comes alive for the first-ever Delco Chalk Fest. Enjoy stunning 3-D chalk art, food trucks, balloon art, and live DJ music—all for FREE. A colorful, budget-friendly summer event for all ages!



Run for Delco, through Delco, with Delco. This unique, inaugural 10-mile race will connect four municipalities and countless neighborhoods, raising funds for local non-profits and community programs across Delaware County. Lace up and give back on Sunday, September 28th!
