Lenzini Named Associate Headmaster

St. Johnsbury Academy has hired John Lenzini of St. Johnsbury to be Associate Headmaster. Currently serving as the school's Athletic Director, Lenzini will assume his new duties on July 1, 2022. A search for his replacement as Athletic Director is underway.

Students Attend Northeast District Music Festival

Scholars Bowl Team Completes Season

The Scholars Bowl team recently competed in Montpelier for the second day of state competition. The team defeated BFA Fairfax and moved on to compete with higher-ranked Burlington. They lost in a hard-fought and high-scoring match. Congratulations to Senior Captain Cecy Sweeney, and Juniors Theodora Montague, Anna Casciari, Nico Sipples, and Nathan Lenzini.

Want to learn something new and exciting this summer? Interested in doing a sports camp? Maybe you would like to get a PE credit this summer to make room for another elective this fall? How about getting a jumpstart on a math class?

This year St. Johnsbury Academy is thrilled to offer an expansive summer program including Prep & Enrichment Courses, Athletic Camps, and Bridge Programs.

Prep & Enrichment courses will run between the weeks of June 20–July 28. The prep courses are for rising 9th graders and the enrichment classes are for grades 7-12 except for Moving Minds and Muscles which is open to students in the 6th through 8th grade. Earn credit for all Prep & Enrichment courses.

We also have a robust schedule of Athletics Programs for grades 3-12. And our Bridge Programs are for students moving from 8th to 9th grade. There is something for every student to learn and enjoy in the SJA 2022 Summer Program.

AROUND CAMPUS
Students in the Construction Trades class worked with students from the Waterford School last week. Before the work could begin, the Waterford students went through a safety course. The students are teamed up to create outside furniture for Waterford School.
Mr. Mitchell keeps a close eye as some of his students sharpen their cutting techniques in class.

Students at The Hilltopper restaurant had the opportunity to serve select groups last week to prepare for this week's SkillsUSA competitions. There are no plans to open the restaurant for service to the public this spring.
