Let's Celebrate the Work

On Monday I welcomed our students back to school from break for this short but intense period between holidays. This is always a time full of activity, as we try to finish the semester strong and find ways to celebrate each others’ accomplishments.

The Meet-the-Coaches Zoom, scheduled for this week has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled at a later date.

The start of winter athletics is currently on hold. However, the Governor’s office will be reviewing details and providing weekly updates regarding when winter sports practices may begin. We will provide an update as soon as we learn of any changes.

Driscoll to Step Down as Head Coach

St. Johnsbury Academy Athletic Director John Lenzini announced this week that Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach Jack Driscoll will be stepping down. Since his SJA coaching career began in 1988, Jack Driscoll earned the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association (VBCA) and Metro Coach of the Year three times, while winning Division I titles in 2010, 2018, and 2019.
