Celebrating Black History

Monday marked the first day of Black History Month, a celebration of the contributions, accomplishments, and experiences of African Americans throughout our nation’s four-hundred-year history, from slaves arriving in a Virginia colony in 1619 to Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem in 2021.

Seniors Selected as Candidates for U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

Four St. Johnsbury Academy seniors have been selected as candidates for the United States Presidential Scholars Program. Gavin Ghafoori of St. Johnsbury, Constance Hammer of Monroe, NH, Emma Keenan of Peacham, and Luke Young-Xu of North Haverhill, NH, have been chosen based on their performance on the ACT Assessment or the College Board SAT.

Senior Recognition Ads for 2021 Yearbook

Mrs. Bakowski and her students were able to get outside to study the variety of trees growing on and around campus.
Chef B's Culinary 1 students had to make a signature pop tart for an assignment. The flavors were Mexican chocolate, cookie dough, s'mores, maple, brown sugar and cinnamon, chocolate fudge, and Nutella banana.
Students in Mrs. Prevost's Advanced Photography class spent their time processing their film and printing their favorite negatives.
