Summer Academic Session

St. Johnsbury Academy is thrilled to offer a robust array of academic opportunities for rising 9th-12th graders. The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant challenges for students at all grade levels, and we are eager to help provide academic remediation and enrichment this summer. Students will have opportunities to fill gaps in their skills and knowledge, advance academically, and explore new and exciting hands-on classes they would not normally have during the traditional school year. These premier, in-person academic courses will come at no out-of-pocket cost to SJA families and are only available to currently enrolled SJA students entering 9th-12th grade. Each successfully completed course earns a student one elective credit. See below for our full list of course offerings and descriptions. Space is limited, so register today!

AROUND CAMPUS
Last week in Chapel, Student Government President Sierra Shippee said goodbye after two years of service to the SJA community. Thank you!
Saturday night was a great night for our boarding students to gather for the 2021 version of Resfest. The night included dorm photos, supper, and games on the Green Dorm Lawn.
Chef B's culinary students created some beautiful wedding cakes as their final projects.
Mr. Eckel's science classes were busy all last week racing cars powered by mouse traps and throwing eggs off of Streeter Bridge. The egg throwing was actually a test to see who could create a shell that would protect the egg when it was dropped. To see some of the great designs, click here.
This week we have added action photos from Varsity Boys' Lacrosse, Girls' Tennis, Varsity Softball, Varsity Baseball and Varsity Girls' Ultimate to our SmugMug account. Follow this link to all of our spring athletics photos. Thinking of a special gift for your favorite athlete? Photos can be easily ordered on the site and shipped to your home.
