Athletics Calendar

We are now using Arbiter as our Athletics Calendar as part of an initiative by the VPA. For this reason, athletic events no longer appear on the school calendar on the website. They can be accessed through the Athletics Calendar on the website or you can bookmark this link for the most up-to-date Hilltopper game and practice times and final scores.

Around Campus

Students from Mrs. McGarvin and Mrs. Kendall’s Human Services classes visited the Vermont Army National Guard facility in Colchester last week to hear about the many human services career paths and post-secondary opportunities it offers. Students heard from soldiers who were medics and pilots, as well as a civilian advocate about their roles in supporting the community through their experiences working within the National Guard. Students even got to explore a Blackhawk helicopter. This opportunity was hosted by SJA alum Sergeant First Class Carolyn Haggett '97.

Videos from the Fall Concert can be viewed here.

Scholars' Bowl traveled to Hanover High School on Saturday to participate in the GHOST Tournament, which puts Vermont schools against New Hampshire schools and includes a contest for the best costumes. Attending the event were

(l-r) Aleksey Strokanovk, Grant Tucker, Jonah Raser, Vicky Scherer, and Aliah Hale. The costume theme was Barbie, Ken, and Barbenheimer, a cross between the Barbie and Oppenheimer movies.

With snow in the forecast, Chef Hale's advisory group crawled from under their warm covers on Sunday to hike Mt Pisgah. This Hike for Hope Pledge Drive raised over $400 for NEKCA.

Mr. Shea's Film I students shoot a scene on campus. To complete the project, the students must write a script, shoot the scenes and edit them to create a final film.

Mr. Mitchell works with a student during his Intro to Welding class.
