HEADMASTER'S MESSAGE

Time to Recommit

This fall we asked the St. Johnsbury Academy community to commit to taking a few basic measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Because we remain dedicated to our mission—to help each student become the best person, the best learner, and the best community member they can be—we want more than anything to have our students here on campus as much as possible to work with teachers, connect with each other, and be part of a strong community. We’ve known from the start that our success this school year would depend on our collective willingness to work together and be smart.

AROUND CAMPUS
Mr. Bugbee and his Construction Technology students are taking advantage of this great weather to build a garage on campus. M0re photos from the project can be viewed here.
Mr. Buhner and his students were out measuring the angle of the sun yesterday using trigonometry.
Workers removed the old shaft ventilators from the roof of Colby Hall last week. New roof-top ventilators will be installed later this fall, providing fresh air to all of the classrooms and offices.
The fall athletic season has drawn to a close. Photos from the season can be viewed, downloaded, or purchased here.
Thank you to everyone in the community who supported this year's food drive. Despite not holding our annual Walk for Hunger or special Dress-Down Days, our halls and advisory rooms are filled with food items that will be delivered this week to area food shelfs.
